Jeff, thanks for posting the pic(used from the seller). I too thought about the "quartz" aspect of this purchase. NO PROBLEM here as I think the watch is really cool and it's a chronograph too. I have several PVD models from several brands and like them a lot. SO this one was a natural for me.

Chuck, I agree, the "Open Source" policy is best. I certainly had no intention when I posted this purchase to infer to anyone that they should all rush out and purchase these "quartz" models. I just like it and this one works for me. Since Jeff did not have any pics of this model I thought I'd help out the site and fellow Heuer fanatics.
