auto vs. quartz- lets mix it up

OK, I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I'm interested in hearing from the quartz fans out there. According to an earlier post from the fellow looking to trade from auto to quartz there were posts saying the quartz just isn't worth it. That with a high end watch like Omega, part of the joy is knowing there are lots of tiny little moving parts, and that that is worth paying for.

Who disagrees? Who thinks the Omega quartz kicks ass, and why?
