: My local (authorized) dealer thinks the quartz
: SMP is the better buy.
: How often do you automatic owners need to get
: your watch serviced and at what cost?
: Thanks.
I have an SMP Chronograph that's 7 years old,I just recently sent it to the UK for its first service.
The main(mean time?) watch was fine its just the chrono minute register hand was stopping.I also asked them to replace the small red hands which have faded badly to a light pink colour!Cost will be $260.(I've spent an awful lot more than that getting fairly ordinary cars serviced in the last 7 months)Only problem I have is that thay said they have to get the hands from Switzerland and will take 30 to 40 days .Buy the auto, quartz ain't got no soul !!
