Re: Frequency & Cost to maintain

: dave,

: could you let me know who/where in london you
: had this done ?

: thanks.

Sorry, I have only just read this question, however, I whole heartedly recommend John Lloyd, who runs the Watch Service Centre, which is in Clerkenwell Road, London, N1. (not sure of the number, but walk up St John St, then turn right, it's next to Frost's Clocks)
It is a tiny yellow fronted shop, with a display of about 60 watches, of varied Swiss manufacturers.
What he doesn't know about Omega's isn't worth knowing.
If you need maintenance or repair work doing, speak to him, he is as human as they come. The prices, well, you will find out for yourself.
(tell him Dave from the police recommended him, you may even get some discount ??)

I personally have had Omega, Rolex, Breitling, Tudor, Zenith, Tag and a whole host of lesser known brands sorted by him. He has done all my stuff, and it has been universally first class

Over to you

regards

Dave
