I love my Bond watch but I just can't get used to the Bond Bracelet. The bracelet is a bit too busy for my tastes, especially when I look at the the head of the watch which is busy enough itself with the wave pattern. Instead of setting off the face of the watch, I feel the bracelet detracts my eye from it.
Shouldn't the bracelet be like landscaping for a building? Landacaping should enhance the appearance of the building without detracting from it. The only reason for doing otherwise would be if the building was so unattractive that you wanted to draw attention away from it. Getting back to watches, I feel the Bond bracelet draws attention away from the watch head.
Wouldn't a more simple Speedy bracelet look better? I haven't seen a bond watch with a speedy bracelet but would imagine, because a Speedy is more simply stated, that it would frame the watch face rather than fight with it. Can these bracelets be purchased only through authorized Omega dealers? How much should you expect to pay?
