I completely agree with you, Steve. Just an example regarding the perceived indestructible "eternity" of Rolex watches. Imagine all those thousands of Rolex watches being sold to damn rich oil tycoons who never would spend a minute commenting a statement about their watches in the internet. They wear it one year and purchase another one if it fails. Main thing Rolex. There would be many other examples. Of course, many complaints (e. g. about the 3313) are justified, but human beings tend to become biased. This makes such fora fascinating ;-). We are all somehow crazy.
