having owned three Rolex watches, the most recent a Sub Date, attention to detail especially when compared to Omega wouldn't be a descriptor I use of Rolex...if anything the finish work is far worse than most Omega pieces (and that is on all of the Rolex watches I have owned) not to mention their bracelets and clasps while functional are a bit of a cruel joke when one considers the price of the watches...they are OK at best, but as Walt Odets once said the difference between the public perception surrounding the brand and the actual quality of the product itself is so great that it is shocking...reminds me alot of Montblanc and Blose, two products which the masses and status seekers consider aweseome which just are anything but.
