Seiko 5 automatic watch clasp comparison *PIC*

Hey cajunmike, the surprising amount of scratches on the Omega clasp has led me to
perform some quick tests against one of my old beaters, a Seiko 5 automatic which I've worn on
and off for over a year now and just recently taken off my wrist in favor of the Seamaster.
The Seiko clasp has a very similar brushed metal finish.

Firstly I used the corner of a small sharp chisel and brushed really lightly on both clasps
until a visible faint scratch appears. Result:
the Omega clasp scratches a little bit easier.

I then used a Scotch Pad (thx for your recommendation - it does work) and performed the
same test, brushing lightly until scratch marks appear. Result: the Omega clasp scratches a
litle bit easier.

I'm bummed with this result but still very much enjoy this timepiece. I think part of my
disappointment stems from the fact that I initially hoped that this expensive watch which
is 20 times more expensive than any of my other watches would be 20 times better too, which is
a bit unreasonable now that I think about it.
