Re: It need professional help..I would invoke warr

same problem here with my Speedmaster. makes rattling noise now and will not self wind. however, i can manually wind.

sent it in yesterday back to SGUS/Omega. Not sure what they will do since i've had so many issues with it.

Since purchasing it back in 2002,

a) minute hand fell off in 2004, Omega fixed under warranty
b)stop winding itself in september of 2005, Omega fixed it under good will
c) stopped again middle of march, 2008, sent it off yesterday, what Omega will do this time, remains to be seen.
: and insist they service it at Omega - at their
: costs. Why create for yourself unnecessary
: suspicion, risk and worry over the nature
: and quality of the fix if it is done
: elsewhere?

: For example can you be sure that unauthentic
: parts had been used to substitute or replace
: genuine ones inside the watch in the course
: of repair unless the watchmaker is someone
: reliable and well known in the Omegan
: circles.
