Re: The Co-Axial Is Fine...
: So then why are you here posting on an Omega forum if you think
: they aren't worth the money??? Some of the brands you mentioned
: are indeed good values for the money, but they don't come close
: to the level of fit and finish of an Omega, nor do they have
: movements that are nearly as complex. If you don't appreciate
: SOMETHING about Omega, then why post here?
Glad I changed my mind about the Planet Ocean Chronograph, from what I read here.
Must say I hesitated because of the movement, I have the Speedy auto date Valjoux 7750 base, & whoever said Omega's are not good time keepers obviously hasn't tried one. Two year old watch & running one second behind BBC time.
I also have the Speedy Saphire sandwich with the Lemania movement, that looks & runs fabulous bit slower than the auto, but just keeps going.
I have had many Omegas in my 70 plus years without much trouble & the reason I have, is because of they are the best value for money & a pleasure to wear.
They now have customers back, & are very foolish to use an unreliable movement, but much worse to treat customers as I read here.
