I sent the watch to Shane Ede, along with two others. I think the work on the Constellation was somewhere between $100 and $150, but it was a while back and he did work on three watches in total.
The work he did on all three watches was impeccable, and they were repaired and returned promptly. A very easy and pleasant transaction.

Also, it's kind of sad. Chuck Maddox, who introduced me to Shane and posted earlier in this thread, passed away a little more than a year ago.

Good luck getting the watch fixed. It's really special to have your grandfather's watch and you should take good care of it.
