I comared the automatic with the professional and decided on a Moon watch for two reasons #1 Historical significance #2 feel and look. I found the auto versions to look too small and feel too light the lack of a date was never a consideration....
: Though I wouldn't give up my Speedmaster Pro, it does have the disadvantage
: of not having a calendar. If I were buying another chronograph, I would
: opt for the Speedmaster Auto with the day/date/month (I think it's the
: 3521 series). I especially like the one with the white dial and the steel
: bezel.
: One disadvantage of the Automatic line, is that they don't have a model with
: a display back. The Automatic is also a tad smaller that the Professional
: (39mm vs 41mm), if that matters.
