You left out Breitling, Panerai and Omega.

Oh and what are those functional design inferiorities? I just read someone whose Omega GMT movement fell apart from wearing it while playing golf, have yet to hear of that effecting a Rolex.

Also most watch junkies I know have nothing but respect for all of th classical brands.

your post would have been so much better if you only used IWC, Zenith and possibly JLC as examples...but Breitling? one of the most popular rands out there next to Tag? Panerai the watch revived by hollywood?? and Omega which sells out more than most other brands in terms of advertising? get real.
