Setting the time... how often?

OK. I've been reading the posts and the discussions/articles on accuracy from this site. I have the bond 2531.80 SMP and it clocks a very precise -2 seconds per day. No big deal. But, this really means I will usually lose a minute every month. Which is no big deal until I realized that at this rate, I'd be 12 minutes behind by the end of the year!

Okay. Now obviously, I can set the time every so often to ensure I'm not that far off. Are there any drawbacks in setting the time at least once a month? Would you recommend this?

I can also do it less often, like everytime the calendar moves from a month with less than 31 days... since I'd have to adjust the watch anyway. So this is less than 12 times in a year.

What do you recommend? Thank you in advance.
