Identfication of brothers watch

My brother was recently killed in a plane crash. At the time he was wearing his Omega Watch. It was a stainless steel chronograph with a black face. I recently received photographs from the company handling the recovery and the back of his watch was the only part that was found. It has a seahorse with the omega symbol. It has SEAMASTER written around the top of the seahorse Under that is the number 861. My brother had the watch for ten to 15 years and I beleive he purchased it in Europe.I have looked at many seamaster watches but the watch as I remember it looks more like a Speedmaster photographs.Could you please help identify the watch so we can find another Thanks.
