Nope, lucky enough to start with Omega

When I started looking for a "nice" watch, I did months of looking, research, trying on, etc. For me it was more than just a watch to impress someone. I was really hot and heavy on the Submariner and the Tag 2000 series when I started looking, as I, like most other people, knew nothing about watches, other than brand recognition. My search eventually ended with me purchasing an Omega 2054.50.

For me the Sub was just too expensive, and the Tags just never spoke to me. At the time the retail on the 2054 was $1795 and I got a good discount to $1250. The price and the piece were right for me. In retrospect, I think I was lucky to find the brand, because over here, Rolex and Tag rule, and I was sort of going against the establishment, but that was part of what sold me on Omega. Since then Ive added a PO and my wife now has one too. Now, im loyal to the brand and will probably only buy Omega watches in the future. For me, Omega just gives me what I want. They have a watch for everyone, high quality and reasonable prices.
