Thanks for the further insight. Now I understand that on e-bay it's likely that a buyer who didn't spot these changes might buy this watch for more than it's worth.
But let's say you're a dealer selling this watch at a watch show, or somewhere else where virutally every buyer is a WIS who will spot its non-originality in a second and you'll disclose it to anyone who asks.
And you've also got another very clean but totally original 69 861 Speedy also for sale.
What's the price that you put on each--the original 69 and the "refitted" 69-- with the idea that you'll want to sell each of them to an educated consumer before the end of the show in three days?
