Hi Sam, I also have an Omega Railmaster that has stopped running and can't be coaked into starting. It is under warranty and I am preparing to send it to Omega in NJ. I bought it last Summer from a jewelery store and it too was on the same winder. The watch had received very little wrist time prior to its stopping, spending 90% of its time on the winder. It was new when purchased. Is it possible that this and the other two watches had suffered ill effects from being in a glass display case, under hot lights at their previous jewelry stores prior to my purchasing them? That was suggested by ML warranty repair when the ML stopped. The Maurice Lacroix and Omega were purchased at the same jewelry store, 1 1/2 years apart. I am currently not turning the winder on at all, simply winding the watches when I want to wear one of them. Is my fear of using the winder unwarranted? Thanks, Steve
