Shuwies are a bit Swatch-y

The Schuwy Speedmasters show more than a little bit of influence from the parent Swatch group. I suspect that they are a marketing move to bridge a generation gap; easing the Swatch generation into a more sophisticated appreciation of the Omega quality and tradition.

I wouldn't own a Shuwy, I'm too old to be interested in the look. However, I think these watches are worth having on the market, and if they get twenty-somethings interested in quality watches, they have served a good purpose.
