Jeff, YOU ARE young enuf to own a Schuwy Speedy!..
In Response To: Shuwies are a bit Swatch-y ()

Swatch has served a purpose if they can get people of all ages to purchase an energetic lookin' watch! C'mon Jeff, you're only old if you feel old. I think I'll someday pass on my legendary Moonwatch to my son or daughter and buy myself a Schuwy Speedy.
:-) Louis

: The Schuwy Speedmasters show more than a little bit of
: influence from the parent Swatch group. I suspect that they
: are a marketing move to bridge a generation gap; easing the
: Swatch generation into a more sophisticated appreciation of
: the Omega quality and tradition.

: I wouldn't own a Shuwy, I'm too old to be interested in the
: look. However, I think these watches are worth having on
: the market, and if they get twenty-somethings interested in
: quality watches, they have served a good purpose.

: Jeff
