Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. The Carrera 1153 was part of the trio of designs Heuer used to launch the Calibre 11 automatic chronograph movement in 1969.
The 1153 was produced from 1969 to 1974 in various dial and hand combinations as well as movements that included the cal. 11, the modified 11-i and 12.
The distinctive case with two pusher on the right and crown on the left has a brushed finish, 20mm lugs and domed plexi. Gay Freres bracelets with the 20mm HLC end links were optional
A vintage Heuer Carrera is about as cool a chronograph as you can get, featuring amazing vintage looks, true motorsports pedigree, and a design originally penned by the man himself: Mr. Jack Heuer.
The Carrera got its name (in 1963) from the legendary cross-isthmus road race in Mexico, known as La Carrera Panamericana.
Stainless steel case is approximately 39mm in diameter (excluding crown and pushers); Original pushers and signed crown and very mint condition without any scratches or dings serial 190xxx
Dial & Hands are beautifull with original lume.
Dial has a very tinny peeling around 6 o'clock dot that you can only see on my Macro X20 pictures NOT in flesh (NOTE - pics 5 and 10 not 20 Macro)
Movement is a Cal.12 (2 triangles on a lug signs it);
Watch was serviced some months ago and works very accurate as well as Chrono
