On the first point, I would say that we see eight or ten Seafarers per year; probably half of those are in average to poor condition, with some major wear or deterioration; this one (most would call near mint), is a once per year type of opportunity . . . maybe even rarer than that.
So come on fellas, let's keep this beautiful and rare chronograph in the ChronoCentric / OnTheDash family.
Write to me for further information; seller's price expectations are reasonable.
And to close with the usual disclaimer, or a slight variation on the theme -- I have no financial interest in this transaction, but I've gotta say that I am getting the urge to buy this one myself, so you should grab it before I am overtaken by this urge.

I have just spoken with the owner of this watch, and undertaken to assist him in selling it. I agreed to do this because (1) it appears to be an absolutely amazing example of a very rare watch; (2) with an acquisition earlier this week, I've reached the limit on my own collection of Seafarers; and (3) I just hate to see this one go to a stranger (i.e., anyone other than the OnTheDash guys).
