FS: Aquastar Seatime vintage diver (ref. 1000) in NOS case

I am offering for sale this lovely and massive Aquastar Seatime, ref. 1000, diver’s watch with silver dial and very prominent oversize dark blue internal bezel with elevated numerals, operated by the winding crown.

The watch is overall in very good condition and ready for instant use. The unique feature of this offer is certainly the never used (new old stock) replacement case the watch has been cased into. Another highlight is the wonderful sunburst dial with beautifully aged fully preserved luminous material. Hands and crown are all original, too.

Case dimensions: 40mm diameter without and approx. 42.5mm with original crown, 19mm lugs.

Movement: The AS (A. Schild) 1902 runs fine and the date change as well as the operation of the inner bezel work flawlessly. Current timekeeping is clearly within a minute per day (around 20s/d) yet the service history is unknown to me.

Strap: The Aquastar will be delivered on a modern big hole tropic strap, representing a matching companion and giving the combo the authentic 1970s look.

Accessories: The original case (in good condition) is supplied together with the watch, its caseback shows some clear traces of earlier opening attempts. Serving as a backup, the spare case is equipped with an excellent crystal and perfect inner bezel.

Price: Due to the unique set including the NOS case I am asking EUR 850,- for it plus international insured shipping according to destination.

Eventually, here come the pics (all unedited, please click to enlarge - and please excuse any dust, it's on the outside only):

And here's the original, now empty, case that's also coming together with the watch (these pictures were taken prior to swapping the case):

When swapping the case my watchmaker confirmed that the characteristic spring typical for this design of bezel operation by the help of the main crown, which usually has been lost in most examples over time, is still present in my watch - which serves as just another proof of the great state of preservation (image source: thewatchspotblog.com):

The watch is located in Austria (EU) and so am I. I do have plenty of international references from various watch enthusiasts (also known here), so please feel free to ask for them.

Just for the records: I am a private collector and, therefore, the watch comes without any personal guarantee given by me. Nevertheless, I am offering to give a full refund less fully insured shipping expenses in case the piece sold would not be as described by me (within an inspection period of three days and to buyers from within the EU only due to the complex customs procedure in case of an overseas deal).

Thanks for reading and thanks to the Chronotrader platform and its host!

Kind regards,
F.Antl
