Hi Stew. I only ever travel with 4 watches max depending on length of stay etc and I put them in my carry on sans boxes of course with my laptop. No customs problems as yet - I'm pretty sure they have other more pressing concerns...plus I'm travelling with my tenor sax which is worth as much as two first gen. Autavias! Where you off to?
