Very interesting.
I had found an alternative hypothesis, which was something to do with the Kingon ball bearings manufacturer, who are a competitor to SKF, themselves were a "sponsor" or at least supplier to Ferrari F1 team in the 1970s, and whose logo appeared on Ferrari F1 cars of the era.
Having said that, I think Eric's theory is more believable as why would you have Kingon on the back case? For example the Champion Camaros had Heuer and Champion written on them. Also I couldn't find out much, but I think Kingon is a more recent Asian manufacturer, so unlikely to be associated with Heuer. Maybe the car experts on the forum can weigh in.
Cool watches, anyway.
