Sorry Chris, I think your question just got overlooked.

5 to 7 years is a decent rule of thumb, and the 7734 is pretty robust so should be able to cope with that. A decent watchmaker will be able to suggest how much needs doing at service, maybe one of the ones on here could chip in.
