Dear Heuer community
I am a fan of Heuer vintage watches since quiet a time. Now I found a nice Carrera 45 3647NT in a local store window and I think this would be a good collector start. As I am quiet novice on this field I have some doubts on price and if the piece is really an original one, as there are no original papers/cerfiticates and box coming with it. Also, the strap and buckle are not original ones. The watch is overhauled and would come with a one year warranty. Below a picture of the object, what seems suspicious to me is that the fluorescent point near the quarter-past position is not really precisely on the quarter-past point.
Can someone help me with a value estimation for this object and also helping with my doubts about if it could be an original one or not?
I would really appreciate some inputs of some experts of this really fantastic forum.
Thanks and best regards,
Gianmarco (Zurich, November 2014)
