Hi,
here is your answer. brought to you from several reliable sources.
1969: the first mechanical chronograph calibre with an automatic self-winding microrotor mechanism (the incredible Calibre 11 developed in partnership with Büren and Breitling and reintroduced by TAG Heuer in the Autavia line in 2003 under the same Calibre 11 name, but with a more compact and more modern construction, providing a longer power reserve). The brand did not hesitate to equip one of its best models, the Carrera chronograph, with this new technology.
