I am really sorry to learn of Laurent's passing away. I met him twice and we tried once more when I was in Paris on a business trip, and in the end even if we couldn't make it I was really pleased for the lengths he went to just to try to meet me again. He was a very nice person and a gentleman indeed, and surely he will be missed by many people, in our community and far beyond.
