If I recall correctly, this watch has been on the market for a while. But I believe that the $3,100 BuyItNow is a new (and higher) price.

Yes, these may be authentic, but I wonder about the valuation. Very 1970s design; unmarked Valjoux 7734 movement. I am guessing that the average collector will still prefer a nice Viceroy Autavia or maybe a Lemania 5100 Carrera, in this price range.
: Some months ago, TAG Heuer Heritage Director, Catherine
: Eberle-Devaux, confirmed the authenticity of some additional
: models from the 1970s and we added them to OnTheDash. Neither of
: these models ever appeared in a Heuer catalog, and collectors
: have debated their authenticity for many years. Now, we know
: that these are authentic, made by Heuer, circa 1977.
: Shown below are two versions of the Reference 905, in blue and

: And there are also two versions of the Reference 2000, one with a
: silver dial and one with a blue dial, here --
: There is a good write-up covering the Reference 905, posted today
: on Calibre 11 --
: Thanks to Catherine for confirming the authenticity of these models
