Well, cold rainy day with 35 mph winds gusting to 110 on top of mount Diablo, we aren't going anywhere. What an opportunity to dig deeper into my hobby. I must say, of all the vintage watches out there, I really like the Heuers quite a bit. Having owned a couple, I think the current Tag models are pretty unexciting, but the old stuff is great. My uncle recently gave me my grandfather's ~late 50's Omega 2 register chronograph and then he tells me, "yeah, I had an old heuer chronograph, but I have no idea where it is". What a loss. So, a question. I hope I am not wrong in linking to a live auction, but do you tlhink this is legit? I compared to some pics on your forum and there are some differences in the dial and case back. The guy has good feedback, but what do y'all think? Thanks.

Does anyone know about the origin of 980 series?
I like it.
