Matt dial - glossy marks

I have a couple of glossy marks on one of my GMTs. Is there anything that is causing it? I'm not sure if it's developed over the last year or two, or I am just looking at it more carefully...
The marks are less than the size of a pin head, and can only be seen in certain lights/angles.

Would it be worth trying to have them cleaned off, or should I just leave alone and accept it as part of the aging process?
