The numbers on the back of the case are 942.008 the front below the bezel says Heuer 2000. I can't send a picture because obviously I am not the sharpest tool in the computer shed.

Well, I certainly wouldn't go that far. Believe me, I run into people on a daily basis who have a much less keen edge if you know what I mean.

Unfortunately, I searched through the 6 Print TAG-Heuer Catalogs that I have and no watch matches the description you posted earlier, and I re-checked them tonight armed with the case reference number, and I was unable to find any 942.xxx referenced watches. Not even in the Price sheet's I have... However, the catalogs I have access to seem to be from the mid 1980's if I'm any judge of them (probably in the 1986-1988 range best guess). So it's possible this is a model introduced after what I have on hand. I'll keep looking but you may have to contact TAG-Heuer on this one.
