I suppose someone could ask why so many of the modern fakes come from the Far East . . . maybe the answer is cultural, maybe legal, maybe economic . . . not really sure.

We are definitely seeing a certain style of fake coming from South America -- pure fakes (not frankens); made from cheap no-name or lesser brands; mainly chronos from the 50's through 70's; many have the same style fraudulent marks. I have no idea whether these were made in the last few years (or months) or were made many years ago . . . strange stuff?
