Autavia TBL

Two questions. My Dad gave me his old watch, what I now know to be a Viceroy, and I'm looking at the owners manual and the model is 1163 TBL. First Question, what is the BL? It was purchased 6/18/72.

Second question; The warranty card was mailed in to Heuer back then. Would Heuer still have the info? I think it was stolen by our sitter or her friends, and want to have a serial # to report to authorities, but the case number on the owners portion of the manual is blank.

Its value was mostly sentimental, as it didn't work that well, some of the luminous paint was missing from spots, the stopwatch hand returned to about 1 second instead of zero, and the guts were oxidized or had mineral stains from water or something similar.

Your help is appreciated as is this great, authoritative site.
