Very fake...
In Response To: Real or Fake? *PIC* ()

Here's a secret... there is no way in hell you are going to get an authentic $1750 watch for around $100. There are no killer deals on eBay. Way too many people bidding on items for anything worthwhile to go unnoticed and sell for a trivial fraction of its real worth.

Too many people end up in this situation because of their *own* greed, hoping to cheat an unknowing seller out of an expensive watch. But really dumb sellers are few and far between. Much more common are those people that *act* like they don't know the value of what they have to try to trigger *your* greed and make you do something stupid.

The top signs of a fake watch is any auction that offers some vague, untracable story of where they got the watch or in any way fails to guarantee authenticity. So you are better prepared *next* time you go eBay shopping, check out the ROGUES GALLERY OF FAKES on the GALLERIES section of this site.

At this point, you need to contact the seller. Tell them that since winning that item at auction, you have consulted Omega watch experts who have told you that item is unquestionably a counterfeit. Since selling counterfeits items is a violation of eBay rules, you consider this auction to be voided.

If the seller does anything but immediately back down, report him to eBay.
