For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
After having bought several watches (some Omega and some not) off Ebay, my watch word is always "caveat emptor" - Now after having looked at the pics on the site, even if it is a fake, it is probably worth every bit what you paid. (might make a dandy vacation watch to wear when you don't want to take the expensive one out but just look like you did!)
My advice, pay for it, examine it or have a professional look at it first-hand, then contact the seller and or Ebay to resolve any further questions. I would not accuse the seller until I had the goods in my hand.
Even if this entire thing bottoms out - you decide you bought a fake, the price is low enough to prevent you from feeling badly for a long time. Look at it this way, over time, even good fakes have become collector's items.
