Re: Mechanicals can be nearly as accurate as quart

I am at around 1 or maybe 2 seconds fast per day and don't mind at all. Sometimes less than a second. I wear it 24/7. But to be honest, I could care less about a few seconds. I have gone mechanical with everything. Especially clocks. I am tired of cheap electronic quartz clocks going bad. Just last month I picked up one of my old man's Junghans and cold not be happier. I has been ticking along for over 80 years with no problems. Ahh, the ticking, the real chiming, Playing around with the balance to chase perfect accuracy. I just can't go back to batteries. One can go through life as quickly or efficiently as possible. Or one can enjoy it. I choose to enjoy it.
