: fake..My friend just laughed...See I bought
: my watch from a authorised Rolex dealer in
: the states and have had rolex service this
: watch on 2 occasions .But heres the funny
: thing..Mine is real , my friends is a Swiss
: ETA copy ,not a true Rolex..

I know someone who paid about $1100 for an actual Swiss made Rolex Submariner replica about 2 years ago. He did a lot of research before he purchased it because many dealers in replicas (crooks) will sell an asian replica calling it Swiss. The difference is, the wholesale price on a Swiss made replica is around $700 to the dealer whereas the wholesale on an asian replica can be anywhere from $50 to $200 and the watch has a really cheap asian movement. Here's the ironic part, the Swiss made replicas all have an unmodified ETA movement inside. I suspect this is why you will occasionally find a fake Rolex that keeps better time than a real Rolex. Many believe the ETA movements are more accurate. I'm not saying to go out and purchase a fake anything. That's illegal and it says something about one's lack of character and serious self esteem issues. I would prefer to own a real Casio than a phoney Rolex. But that is just me.
