My Omega SMP

I have a couple of questions with regards to my seamaster professional. I bought it new from an autorized dealer in 1,998. It is the Mid-Size automatic with the Steel bezel.

The "red" on the seconds hand has become a bit faded because of the sun? Who and where is the cheapest way to fix this?

The rotational bezel has become loose and eventhough you can still hear the spring click, you can feel it is a lot looser. How much can fixing this cost? Is it worth it?'

Last, I took it to a local jewler to have it buffed. It looks as if the watchmaker there, polished the watch all teh way around. Because now it looks shiny all over, whereas before, the steel was dull in some points and shiny in others. Though I do not mind the look of the watch like this, I am worried that I may have ruined its authenticity. Should I change it back to how it was before? Is this even possible? Should I leave it polished all the way around?
