Kudos to La Swiss *LINK*

I just took my 3 1/2 year old Bond SMP back to La Swiss at Square One (Toronto area). The red tip of the second hand had faded to a light pink, and I wanted it replaced. At the time of purchase, the store extended the warranty an extra 2 years beyond the factory warranty.

Incidentally, La Swiss is no longer an Omega agent due to some territorial issue with another (lesser) mall jeweller, but they were happy to do the work. I simply had to order the replacement hands through a friendly competitor.

Once the parts were in, I left the watch with them for one night and got it back almost as good as new. They pressure-checked it and even refinished the case and bracelet. My clasp is now scratch-free - at least momentarily.

I'm surprised at what a difference that tiny flash of red makes to the appearance of the watch. Good work, guys.
