Re: omega seamaster quartz
In Response To: omega seamaster quartz ()

: thanks for the responses. so now the question
: becomes: quartz or chrono? anybody have the
: pros and cons of each?

I bought my quartz 2431.80 last June, and this puppy has not been off time one iota since then. It has kept exactly to the digital time off my work phone from the moment I first set it. The retailler I purchased it from here in Phoenix was not kidding when he said that the time on this quartz Omega was...'dailed in'.

One of the reasons I was attracted to Omega, beyond the quality, etc., was the size of the watch. Now I am finding a peculiar phenomena: the face itself almost appears smaller when I look at it, as opposed to when I first purchased it. Heck, even the same watch in a display watch looks larger. Maybe I need a new prescription on my glasses...or maybe this just happens over time. It almost makes me think that Omega should make a larger faced quartz or automatic SeaMaster.....maybe 42 mm?

thanks
