My wife's half Swedish, so I at least know where you are.

There are no online sales allowed by authorized Omega dealers. That means the watches your website is selling online were acquired from some other source than Omega.

While the company behind the website may mention a warranty and and may honor it, its not an Omega warranty. Very often, Omegas sold on the internet have had their serial numbers removed from the case, (but not from the movement). Make sure that the serial numbers are intact before you buy.

When you say you have a friend going over, to where is he going? In the US, there are a number of authorized dealers that compete relatively well with many online sites AND give you an Omega warranty.
