Hello,
I am about to buy a 2265.80 quartz, new-dial, pro seamaster, but I have read on an other website, that even quality quartz movements do not last longer than 15 years, maximum. They explain that the quartz itself is ageing, and after 10-20 years of service, they loose their frequency, and so the watch looses its accuracy. Is it true, of just someone made it up? Does anyone have any experience with quartz movements older than 10yrs? I really cannot buy auto, because I cannot wear it sometimes 2-3 days in a row, but if it lasts so much longer, I would think about it again. Any advice or help warmly welcomed!
