Re: SS Bezel vs. coloured ones

My Bond SMP is 4 years old. The medium blue bezel has not faded or worn off and shows no marks of any kind.

: I'm considering purchasing a SMP 2255.80, that
: has the blue face and stainless steel bezel
: as opposed to the the black or blue ones. I
: overheard someone mentioning that the
: coloured bezels may be prone to having the
: coloured coating wear off etc ... can anyone
: attest to this ?

: Additionally, if there are any Toronto area
: owners who can recommend a reasonably priced
: authorized dealer (so far the best i've come
: accross is $CAN 2100 incl taxes), i'd also
: be most appreciative. I realize there's lots
: of bargoons on the net and perhaps even
: used, but i'm inclined to go with new and
: from a dealer.

: Many thanks and great forum .... I've learned
: quite a bit here already.

: John
