I bought mine on the net too>
In Response To: Re: Internet Seller ()

I think omega give 3 years now.
I too bought my watch from the net,has all serial numbers and all boxes papers.I got like 40% off list,I think. It was out of state, thus no sales tax. They overnighted it in perfect shape for $25.
It's a gamble, but the seller is reputable and gives a 3 year warrentee.
Works for me!
Keith's source is known to me and IS top notch if you don't want to gamble. You can't go wrong with his dealer, though it may cost a bit more.
A choice only the buyer can decide on.

: Generally an Internet seller will give you the
: watch for 35% off list, however choose one
: that can provide any service on it, because
: the watch will not be serviced by Omega at
: that price.

: You can sometimes even get 40% off list if the
: model is 2 or more years old despite being
: new in the box. Ask the seller privately for
: such an aggressive "cash" price
: and you'll often get it.

: Don't worry when hearing horror stories about
: serial numbers filed off, and so fourth.
: Just pick a seller who's been around a
: while, has a physical address (not a PO box)
: and will service what they sell.

: Omega dealers generally discount from 15% to
: 25% off list and include the warrantee.
: Considering an Omega rarely needs any
: service the first few years, buying from a
: Dealer is a waste of money.

: This is not true with more rare and complicated
: swiss watches, but let's face it, Omega is a
: mass produced just like Rolex. So paying a
: Dealer a few hundred dollars is quite
: pointless.
