Re: SS Bezel vs. coloured ones

: My Bond SMP is 4 years old. The medium blue
: bezel has not faded or worn off and shows no
: marks of any kind.

I've had my Bond SMP since late '99 and it only has one or two scuff marks that are visible from certain angles.
I did get a customer in my store who did a lot of surfing and his blue bezel had lightened in color to a considerable degree. But that is the only faded bezel I've ever seen on an SMP.
My only real problem with the SS bezel SMP is that any scratch will tend to stand out. Although a skilled repairer should be able to polish them out.
Good luck with whichever you choose. They're a great watch.
