I took a small precision screwdriver and went under the lid at the gap by the helium escape valve and it snapped right out. That black inner ring serves as a seat for the anti mag lid. Thanks for the help the pictures really gave me some insight as to what I was looking for. I just wanted to be very careful. By the way the o-ring gasket looked good.
