If you EVER expect to want the bracelet, buy the watch on a bracelet -- even if you immediately also buy a strap to put the watch on for normal wear.

Omega bracelets are VERY expensive to buy later separately -- often in the $400 range for the steel ones. The difference in cost when the bracelet is bought as part of the watch is usually well less than half the cost of buying the bracelet separately.
