In Response To: James Bond or GMT?? ()

The Seamaster Pro and the Seamaster GMT do not have the same movement. They are based on the same movement. The GMT hand can be set independently of the Hour hand. It also does not have a true "quick set" Date or the Helium Escape Valve. A second time zone is one of the most common complications out there, and Omega does it better than most.

$245 US Retail difference. I think both watches offer an excellent value. But I think it's too simplistic to compare them side by side and decide one is better than the other base on the nominal price difference. I would decide if you need or want a GMT function and make your decision based on that.
